Parents of students, faculty members, survivors, and many others are reeling from the tragic mass shootings last week at Virginia Tech. As people the world over try to comprehend this incomprehensible loss of young lives, may they cry out to, and know the presence of, the Lord who likewise suffered violence and death.
The recent suicide bombing inside the Iraqi Parliament Building is a grievous reminder of the hatred with which the evil one grips human hearts. Pray that the Holy Spirit may frustrate the plans of those who plot violence, and strengthen the hearts of those who work for peace.
